Blizzard is experimenting with FIFA microtransactions in the Asian region. While these features have not been enabled in Fifa 17 Coins (with no mentions of a possible implementation), Patch 2.3 includes additional portraits that will be available for purchase.
The currency currently used on Asian realms to purchase cosmetic rewards such as wings, portraits or a timed experience boost, Blood Shard boost, stash space and even character Slots is called Platinum.Platinum is earned by the first daily kill of a Treasure Goblin, boss in Story mode or a Rift, first daily completion of a Bounty set and by completing achievements. Theres also a special Platinum Treasure goblin.
